because of my just finding this vid i just asked my library system to buy the book and manga or hold them for me from another system to enable my purchase from said system ten after seeing the movie i will watch this vid which i have yet to watch but know i'll like thank you uve made a Girl that Leapt Through time otaku out of me before ive seen anything that happens lol.

TT___TT I was so disappointed in the ending with the whole 'I'll wait for you in the future' thing.. What the hell.. How is he suppose to wait for her. D:
And a question killing me is, why'd he ask her out if he weren't able to stay? Or why'd he have to leave so quickly? -__________- So lame.. I love the movie regardless though.. But still! SO FRUSTRATING.

@missdisenchanter I don't think so. It's obviously clear that Chiaki is hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of years apart from Makoto's era, so unless the time-leaping device was invented in Makoto's time period, I highly doubt it. If it makes you feel better, it's entirely possible for Chiaki to go back in time and see her again. :)
