The Making of Coconuts Red Bean Pudding

Red Bean = 50 gram
Coconut Paste = 200 ml
Water = 600 ml
Evaporated milk = 63 gram
Sugar = 100 gram
Salt = very little
Galeton = 6 gram

1. Wash the red bean the night before and put in water for over night
2. Next day morning, put the red bean in a pot and add water, boil the red bean for 15 to 20 minutes until the beans are soft and tender,
3. Turn off the stove and cover with the lid, leave the red bean in the pot for another 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Using another pot, add Galeton and water and melt / dissolve the Galeton
5. Add coconut paste, evaporated milk, into the Galeton solution and keep stirring while it is simmering.
6. Stir it until the solution is thicken.
7. Add red bean and salt and simmer for a bit and turn off the stove.
8. Put it in a container and chill it before use.

  • @PinkButterflies117 Yes... it's coconut milk.

  • I don't use evaporated milk. I use regular milk.. (i.e. homo , skim etc)
