A Mudhog is a high-volume, high-production tool meant for large jobs like taping entire houses. Buying one to tape a single wall is like buying a howitzer to kill a mosquito. I guess your comment is a (failed) attempt at humor...?!?

Good thorough video, but you really should
invest in a Drywall Mudhog.
You can then mix 5 boxes of mud, save any
unused mud for the next house or job and
save time and money!

I appreciate your videos so much! I have read & heard so many different things about whether & when you should dilute your mud; and how much water to use. Although you didn't show exactly how much water, I think I have a good idea at least on the consistency to look for. I bought a mixer thing for my drill but haven't used it yet ... seems simpler to just do a little as you go. Who needs another dead gum mess to clean up? :-)

some crummy drunk for a contractor left a mixer (1/2") when he left after getting a partial payment. I did not know whatit wa annow I don't know what happened with it. I'll just buy and think it would be a lot easier...

You need to buy yourself a tape reel. It would also be way easier to use a 1/2 drill and mixer and mix the whole bucket at one time.
