@TheDamianX11 Actually I bought an i5 2500k shortly after I wrote that. Now I run a 5970 plus a 5850 in crossfire. Never under 100FPS on high :)

@Shrudder360 The Radeon 7 series has already been confirmed to be die shrinks so their not gonna be game changers, just a bit cooler and less power hungry. Considering they run cool and aren't power hungry now its really not gonna be worth it. If the past is any indication cards are probably going to stagnate for a 1-2 years while both companies rename the same cards over and over.
