@FLECHdiMARANGO95 Kinda sorta, but it did make something very clear. That the actual free style dance that I'm thinking of may just have evolved and I just got left behind. Which makes sense.

@StAmuriah yup, it is the disco dance which is danced in the discoand it improved in the years. is this your question?

@FLECHdiMARANGO95 I think so, thank you for clearing that up. Once again, i apologize for my ignorance, but I just needed to ask from a group who know and my question being unadulterated. I must say it looks like there is a tremendous amount of technique involved, but what actually qualifies it as disco? Is it done to disco music?

@StAmuriah there are disco dance and disco freestyle... in the dance you only have to dance:no jump like flick or things like that...in freestyle there are only jumps and flick and a little of figure not acrobatic, get it?

Forgive me for being ignorant, but i have absolutely NO idea how anything in any disco freestyle video I've see (including this one) has anything to do with disco with the exception of the arm rolls that are just a touchstone to waacking. I do all street and house dance from bboying (breakdancing) to locking to tecktonik. And I would like to think I know my history and dance styles very well. Can you please tell me why there is so much more gymnastics than actual dance in this style? I'm lost.

@ChemicalRave It'll come in a few months lol. Took me 3 years to get out of beginners lol xD Takes others less time though :)

Disco freestyle is amazing. Its also very hard.. BUT the feelingyou get when you nail a routine or go to your first competition is so worth it :)
