This is an excellent composition... But it's not live by any chance, is it? The drummer is missing bits, the singing is often going off rhythm even though he has an excellent voice. I don't think the drummer is doing very good with bits. Especially at 3:45 - 3:47, the drummer is totally lost. He is good though! The point is, it's difficult to play drums for a classical tune like this. Drums are hardly used to play anything but dadra and kaharba!

Still from Sydney, Javed Bashir should be known as Ustad Javed. His voice is an instrument that he uses from deep down in his soul which makes each song a narrative. Mhd Papu and the other boys are just great too !

I found the Sampooran CD in Harris Park in Sydney. Brilliant !!! Where is Jhok Ranjhan - is there a CD called Adholan ?
I can't listen to much besides MHB right now and this is coming from someone who was absorbed in Satriani after seeing him here in July. I'd seriously like him to listen to MHB and I'm sure he'll want to do a collaboration with the guys !

Why Mekaal Hasan is so underground???? I consider him one of the best from the subcontinent! Very innovative, indeed!
