(Lyrics)

Sunday comes alone again
A perfect day for a quiet friend
And you - you will set it free

I see new morning 'round your face
Everybody says it's another phase
And now - now it's come to me

I see the magic in your eyes
I see it come as no surprise
And you - you turn your eyes away
Yeh you - you turn it all away

I guess it's true it's never too late
Still I don't know what to do today
Oh why can't I set you free
Will you do the same for me

Sunday comes and Sunday goes
Sunday always seems to move so slow
To me - and here she comes again
A perfect ending to a perfect day
A perfect ending what can I say
To you - lonely Sunday friend
With you - Sunday never ends

  • The riff was taken from Helium's song "Skeleton"

  • WTF why is macaulay's toung so big

  • Look up the Daria episode "Fair enough", it begins with a scene in the school library where Daria is doing some work with this song playing in the background, suddenly she notices water dripping on her books and sees that the roof is leaking quite badly. As she leaves, the whole thing collapses. "Sunday" was the perfect song to use in that scene because of it being that ominous.

So whenever I hear this song it reminds me of that Daria episode

  • macaulay seems like a great kisser. just saying, lol

  • @sdsbassist its from a film called Sub Urbia I believe. I watched it on late night tv years ago and enjoyed it, it was kinda like 'Bully' - then this played at the end credits

  • @xtofa

sonic youth came first. I am not bitching. its great to learn what has gone before. The process of music creation goes: 1. Imitation 2. Assimilation 3. Innovation.

Blur basically took the above song and made a new song from it which was an awesome song, way better to listening to than the above one...

  • @KombiPode oh wow a couple of those chords are in coffee and tv! which came first?

  • MACAULAY CULKIN<3<3<3<3<3
