President Shimon Peres announced on Wednesday his plans to join Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah at a UN interfaith conference this month, raising the possibility of an unprecedented public meeting between the two heads of state.
Peres, a Nobel Peace laureate, has recently spoken favorably of a Saudi-sponsored plan that calls for a comprehensive peace between Israel and the Arab world in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal from most of the lands captured in the 1967 Six-Day war. 11/06/08
O.k., next up: King Abdullah of Jordan, at least he's honest and admits this inter"faith" stuff is primarily a political cause. That said, he does use some code I will translate: when he says such dialogue must move from highest levels to common task this means propaganda campaign, when he says must involve student & univ. exchanges this means infiltration & academic jihad, when he says media needs to take leadership this means anti-Islam speech suppression & da'wa propagation...be discerning!

Am watching the UN Interfaith Conference LIVE right now, and I cannot believe my ears what Peres is saying -- just suicidal, wishes Saudi King's views was that of others. Bye, bye Jerusalem.
