And my friend, I would love to have founded this out 6-7 years ago... it would have helped me a lot! Don't worry you are on the right way and wonderful journey is ahead of you :))
I wish all the best to you and hope that all your dreams will come true

@sniped101 Aaaaa... sadly it may be, BUT!, our great and dear leader Stef :-D has an answer for that to (doesn't he have answer for every question!?:) - it is personal happiness! Personal completeness and satisfaction...
So perfect world around us we might not see, but then that does not matter so much, we can have it IN our lives.
Also some great stuff in this regard he said on Porcupine fest, search here: "WE ARE STILL HERE!" 2011 Porcupine Freedom Festival

@zg76 thats going to take a long time. I'm 19 and i know i won't see it in my lifetime.
-
@sniped101 That would be false dichotomy or bad comparison. We can practice peaceful parenting, be loving and caring for our children-people who are our "slaves", over which we have absolute power. That way we eliminate killing and controlling! That's what we can and need to do ;)
-
@zg76 right, teaching slaves to love their masters can be countered by teaching these people to not love their masters that feed them their whole lives.. don't worry though, if the slaves stop paying taxes to their masters and resist, they get shot. thank god we can teach them to resist so they get shot... oh wait.. is that good?
-
@sniped101 of course, we agree.
But I am not still sure we argee in this particular instance, is a bad philosophy or even agitation for violence (in general sense, like promotion of ideas of fascism, communism, or even statism) force initiated against us?? I don't think so.
-
@zg76 I agree that the non-initiation of force is just that, we never initiate force BUT IF we have force initiated against us we can rightfully use self defense, do you agree?
-
@sniped101 :) No, no, do you agree that non-initiation of force does not "allow" us to aggress against those who actively preach bad and wrong philosophy (statists, priests, etc.)?
-
@zg76 do I agree with that being your opinion? yes. but I don't think that was your question as im kind of confused what your question was..
-
@sniped101 Of course. No one is defending bad "teachers" and I completely agree with Stef when he says if anyone, philosophers are completely responsible.
I focus on us, our response to this. If we have different principles, non-aggression one clearly says force (killing) is "permissible" only, only in direct self-defense. That is my opinion. Do you agree?
Can we get an update on these 'disclosures' please Mr.Mol ? Great video.
