I feel it was really bad decision on Sammys part to run it tiwce. Daniel is right. Running is twice doesn't effect the outcome on % ROI in the longrun, but rather creates low variance.
The problem becomes you don't want a low variance when you're massively ahead, because it's so hard to get in that position in a cash game.
The other problem lies in the fact you aften have to run it only once when you're destroyed, creating high variance on the losing end, and low variance in the high end.
