  • tuning up first would be a good idea..

  • @zrz01 it's not about tuning it up m8. the sound is given by two different amp models on different paths. it was perfectly tuned just before starting to play the song :-)

  • Smooth playing n great tone m8 . Any chance u share the patch ?

    Cheers !

  • @Stratocasteratos Gonna upload the patch next weekend on customtone and share the link here.

  • Bravo! Very nice playing indeed, and impressive that there's not a real amp in there. Seems like a great unit the HD500.

  • @muggle911 Thx! I used 2 dynamic delays in parallel paths, one set to 357 ms and the other to 367 ms, an analog chorus as modulation at the beginning of the path nd two different amps: an AC30 simulator and an AC15 simulator with blue bell and silver bell cabs. Anyway next time I'll try it with a digital delay with modulation and boost comp on a signle amp and will post it here.

  • @EdgePartime probably he didn't think that you may have added some modulation or chorus in the path...

  • That was bitchin

  • Sounds amazing!

  • @EdgePartime Where can I find it there?

  • Hey Man Great Playing Checking Out my Bands new song The Boundary if you like U2 i Garentee that youll like them

  • Great sound was It done with an amp or with a Pa

  • Wow sounds nice Bro, what settings ''Effects'' are you Using...Love that Sound

Should get my ''line6 hd 500 this Weekend'' !! Great Job,By the Way Ur Tunning sounds Good Bro !! Great Job,,Post more Delay Sounds There Really Catchy.........

  • @ThatVaiGuy The rhythm is a dotted eighth note, but the time of the delay can still vary.

  • KIller sound! What's the name of the patch that you've uploaded to customtone? Thanks!

  • again. nailed it. wow.

  • Why does every U2 guy who posts on youtube talk about their delay in ms? Isn't it a dotted eigth note?

  • @TalkToTheBody: m13 is cool, but the hd500 is the big enchilada. Its the ultimate in total control for your sonic vision, and if you ever decide to get the dt amps, then the hd series gives you control over them as well. In a sense, total domination of your sound. its really pretty badass, and no one else comes close unless you pay big money for a custom layout! Just listening to this clip, without even being in a million dollar studio and it still sounds killer! nuff said!!!

  • badass dude, if the edge craps out you can play the U2 gig bro!

  • @christhesnaildriver oh by the way the video demos of alexromachado has convinced me to go for the HD500 even if his demo is in Spanish/Brasilian? Check out all his demos and you will see that by just plugging in the HD500 to your PC using the USB link, slap on some headphones and you can tweak away very easily, unlike years ago when you had to bend for hours navigating your way through a small LCD screen on the FX unit (like my Boss SE70). YOu can also share patches on Line6 web site

  • @christhesnaildriver Join the band wagon my friend but like you I am suspicious as to why the M13 and HD500 are so closely matched in price. The UK are selling the HD500 for £409 and M13 for £349 so there is a gap starting. I have been told by mick3b1g and you must know him on here and he said the M13 effects are fully loaded into the HD500. My main problem was being caught up in editing but check out alexromachado in Brasil of his excellent..search for POD HD 500: Testing the amps.

  • @TalkToTheBody I would really appreciate an answer to this too - I'm really struggling to decide which is the best to go for. It's a bonus that the 500 comes with an exp pedal built in, and the USB connection would be useful to me, but is it missing inportant features that the M13 has? I can't work out why they would be so similar in price when the HD500 is newer and apparently has so many extra features and better quality sound (ie- what's missing then????!!!)

  • That's a great tone you tweaked in there, so overall impression of the HD500? Have you tried the M13? If so which wins?
