-4 tbsp canned crab meat
-8 wonton wrappers
-2 tbsp cream cheese
-1 tbsp sour cream
-pinch of salt
-pinch of pepper
-1 1/2 cups canola or vegetable oil
-sweet and sour sauce

Pour the oil in the frying pan and put it on high heat. In a small bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, sour cream, and seasonings. Then use a spoon to measure out the mixture you need for each wanton wrapper. Then fold into a triangle or roll into an egg roll and make sure to seal the sides with water.

Once the pan is hot enough, place all the wontons in the pan and turn over when they turn golden brown. Once both sides are golden brown, remove from the pan and place on a paper towel first to remove the extra oil. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.

Yes, I do. Actually I just made some last week but, I'm not sure if 5 minutes is enough to fry them. I will try though!

    Thanks for asking.

  • I tried to make won tons using a cheese filling. Which did work. But my mistake I think was to place them on a paper towel plate and put them in the oven so I could make all of them and keep them warm. When we were ready to eat the won tons were terrible tough around the edges and the won ton was soggy in the middle with little to no taste. Next time I will try just leaving them on the plate to drain. Also cooking them at the time given in this recipe made them way to brown and hard.Try again
