My Uncle was with Patton,'s 3rd Army, 90th Division. I visited for the 60th Anniversary and it was something to behold. Thank you citizens of Belgium for restoring all of the hardware and NEVER forgetting.all the brave men who fought at Bastogne. My uncle lives on through every one who remembers

My father was with the 3rd Army, 11th Armored Divi., 23rd Reg., CCB who fought the 9th SS Panzer Division in the fiercest fighting of the battle just north of Bastonge near the town of Noville. He was grieviously wounded by shrapnel from a hidden 88mm when German gunners saw him aiming for a long shot with a bazooka after they blew the shit outta a pair of his company's half-tracks I salute the Belgium people for continuing to remember the courageous men who fought in this gigantic conflict.

My dad-rest his soul- was there in December of '44. He would have loved to go back, I'm sure. Before the German offensive began, he was in Liege. He always spoke about the warmth and kindness of the Belgian people.
