  • Read again the great controversy please! she said the responsible for sin is Satan and not Christ. that is the whole symbolism of the scape goat and the ram in earthly sanctuary. If you say the responsible of sin is Jesus then you think as Satan does blaming God for evil. You need the Holy Spirit to discern the truth.

  • @Apolo1428 You need a good dose of Jesus if you even think your comment is right. That is blasphemy and you need forgiveness before you die. You are in danger of eternal hell. It is clear you know nothing about salvation history.

  • I hope I've made sense, God bless:)

  • The wilderness was the best way to show the people their sins had been removed. If you go into the wilderness or desert, you could look north, south, east and west, and not see anything. It`s to show us how far they are removed from us and that they can never find their way back because they are gone, dealt with.

Its like how you hear that our sins are thrown into the deepest sea. Not only did Jesus pay our price, he removed them from us.

  • @5tangerines

That represented the removal of the sin from the people because the price had been paid and it allowed the sins of the people to be forgotten or removed. Remember this verse:

Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

The three duties of the scapegoat was 1. atonement 2. take sins in own body 3. remove sins

Jesus provided atonement, Jesus took our sins in his own body, and he came to remove our sins.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Then why is one of the goats taken out in the wilderness to die???

  • @5tangerines

They both represent different aspects of the atonement provided in Jesus christ. The one represented how he would pay the penalty for sin, and the other represented how he would take our sin in his own body, and remove them from us, and provide atonement for them.

The two goats represented what would happen as Jesus provided atonement for us. Satan played no part in it.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Could you explain to me what the first animal represents then? Im a bit confused...Thanks and God Bless.

  • @Apolo1428

I pray that you have considered my previous post. Satan does not provide atonement for you, but by saying he's the second goat you are.

  • @Bingolly1 God Bless You my friend! I would like to hear what you believe the ram and the scape goat to symbolize. May you continue being bless in your ministry!=]

  • @Myhopeisinhim I answered back but it seems Bingolly does not let me comment, only what is convenience for him, what is he afraid of? the truth? the Bible? Cowards won't inherit the kingdom of heaven. Rev 21:8
