  • i was taught by my god-mother (who is a gypsy and a great aunt) that for a long time in europe people didnt know where they came from, but by the dark hair and tanned skin they thought egyptians, then it was shortened to gyptians, then finally to gypsy. But your info is correct too. I was just adding something. My god mother would like me to become one, but i dont know. (i am currently a wiccan, my family is full of different cultures, my mom wanted me to be a lutheran)

  • You are incorrect! the ROMA people did not make it into Spain until 1352, they entered the eastern block first after leaving Persia. They are Rom, from Northern India and they are as follows: Spain: Cale Hungary: Kalderash

    Germany: Sinti and so forth. They said they were from Egypt in order to seem more exotic, but truth be known, they are not from Egypt, they arrived there via in the same diaspora, different route. You spread false information, therefore you are a lepton...
