The de-facto standard in signal transmission can now be used for quick data transmission with fiber optics as well. The new M12 fiber optics connectors from Phoenix Contact now offer especially small connection solutions that can be used for the connection of POF, PCF and GOF fibers.

The IP65 and IP67 degrees of protection make the connectors ideal for use in the industrial environment. The design of the connectors protects the sensitive ferrules and fiber end surfaces during contacting and assembly.

Alternatively, pre-assembled lines are also available. Panel feed-throughs with an integrated transceiver or couplings can be used for the integration of the M12 fiber optics connection into electronic or control cabinet housings. The transceiver integrated in the panel feed-through allows direct opto-electrical conversion.
