I remember going to the old location and lunch was $8.95. The food is good but i not into paying $17.99 for fried chicken and pot roast.

My families experience was like this, it's worth the trip and the food is good but don't expect to be blown away. The tea and biscuits are outstanding and so is the chicken of course. It is a bit too expensive but we did enjoy ourselves. The best advice I can give is the advice someone gave to us, if you really want to experience her food, order off the menu and not from the buffet.

@MsLilmika Do you not think I'm an honest person? Really the food is not as good as it used to be. I'm not saying that it's gross, but it used to be a lot better...

I am shocked. We loved the restaurant! We put our names on the list last Friday morning around 10:30 a.m. and we headed out to the beach and then to the city and we were seated, everything was delicious and pleasant. The service was impeccable. My only rant is the parking but that is not her fault. Wow...totally different experiences.

what day of the week was this? i was planning on making a pitstop on my way home from fl. i hope it was a sat n not a tuesday night w a 3hr wait! im going to stop on a tues but not if thats the normal weekday crowd!

This was a Sunday... It changes all the time - weekends are worse than weekdays. You'll just have to go by and see. If they're stacked up then go down the road to Uncle Bubba's (her and her brothers restaurant which in my eyes is a lot better).
