wwwwwwwooooo i bought it .... still did not install it , do i have to store the ink in a special temperature? there is a video on youtube show the installation (step by step) for the z3100 from a to z which means from opening the box until he print his own design, is the z3200 steps are the same as the z3100?

it says setup error why?
do i have to connect this printer to the back of the computer or does it work on network connection?

i like to buy the z3200 photo printer but do i need to use the whole cartridges? they are 12 and expensive too... also do i have to laminate it after printing ? what kind of ink do you use and why? i see some people use tubes connected to gallons so that they don't have to change the cartridges , does this printer use this option?

The steps are the same for the Z3100. As long as you don't store the ink in extreme temperatures you will be fine.

The tubes connected to gallons of ink is not a HP model - it is a practice that some companies employ to help reduce costs on ink where print usage is extremely high. While at first glance this appears to provide good cost reductions on the ink costs, the negative side is that the non-HP ink will contain more impurities so you're looking at increased breakdowns, more down-time, increased repair costs and reduction in quality of print/colours + you invalide your HP warranty by using non-HP ink.

The Z3200 uses HP Vivera pigment inks which are UV stabilised (by comparison non-UV stabilised inks will fade in the sunlight and won't be suitable for outdoor use) .

If your prints are for outdoor use then they will require laminating to protect them from the weather, unless you print onto vinyl. There are a few ways to laminate - one of which includes a liquid based laminate that you can roll on (using a small roller that you can obtain from your local DIY store) which we can supply to you.

If you purchase a new Designjet Z3200 it will be supplied with a complete set of "starter" ink cartridges which are 69ml and will last for some time. The printer does require a complete set of cartridges in order to function - which we can supply to you.

Yes you do have to connect the printer to the computer either by a USB connection straight to the computer or through a network connection.
