Alt naught might just be stronger, faster, more durable, overall better then the normal alt, meaning it may not be pilot skill, but mech attributes instead.

It's not that beowulf is BETTER, more that he got a different quality from the enists. I remember seeing a quote from axel that he uses the SAME strategies as the beowulf he knew, meaning that they are one in the same, except that beowulf has enist power, so his alt naught (everyones calling it that, but I think its just a slight varie on the alt) can regenerate and is much stronger then the NORMAL alt.

Actually, its because Beowulf is enhanced by the Einst. The Alt Eisen Nacht can regenerate, which makes it rather difficult to beat. Somewhat similar to the Rein Weiss.

I think it's more because Beowulf is more skilled than Kyosuke, even though they're the same people. Axel comments on this (I think) that Beowulf is better. I think Axel also says this is because Beowulf's world is full of war, so he had to become stronger, and that's why Beowulf is much more skilled.

And yet it can't beat Beowulf and the Alt Nacht, otherwise it wouldn't even be here. But still, wait till he comes back with the Reise. Then we'll see who gets the last laugh.

Meh. I like the OG2 arrangement better. I'm not talking about the junk quality. I meant the fact that it comes off as a much stronger theme than the OGS edition, which is a bit sadder in the "morbid serenity" sort of way.

Hey, the Soulgain (that can actually use the blades) busted up the Alteisen. What makes you think the ridiculously modified Soulgain (Zwei <3) couldn't do it in it's sleep? Especially since it has a tendency to bring a lot of guests... =O
