The energy that he's always giving in the performances is something unique!!!!!!!!! I think he's my favourite dancer... Love u Vasiliev!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not just his technique - which is amazing - but the incredible intense energy with which he dances that takes your breath away and gives you a visceral thrill when watching. Add his charisma and he's already one for ballet history books at age 21. (To top it off, he's charming offstage and has not let his enormous early success got to his head.)

I must say this is the most exciting dancer I have ever seen. As a dancer myself, (years past) I am seeing in him magic and dance is reborn in my eyes just watching him.

Changing position with the legs from fifth (closed) position to fifth in the air. Doing it whilst turning is insanely difficult and wonderful!
