You are so funny. I agree with you....personally. The ring is about commitment (this is from my wife, I'm not that smart). So ---make your father happy and yourself, and have your boyfriend get you both. For what its worth, my dad thinks Movado is an overpriced alley cat($1000), and has no idea what Blossom cost ($800). I'm not trying to be crass by giving prices--its more for the point.

@Dethancooper lol yeah, my dad's always saying "why do you make such a fuss about him getting you a cat? It's not like it's a diamond ring" and I say I prefer a cat over a diamond ring. A ring can't purr or prance around the house and you can't nurture a ring!
