That last quote of yours is out of context. Look it up. Bogdanor is an ultra right wing nutjob with a hard-on for Chomsky, seriously, get a clue. Chomsky is one of the most articulate and brilliant voices of our time, and I have yet to see anyone put him in his place in debate because Chomsky always has the facts, along with photographic recall, to back up his claims. The difference between him and less subtle analyses is he recognizes what is perfectly true - that the US calls the shots in Israel rather than the other way around. Apart from that truism, I can't even imagine why you believe he's "sucking up to Israel"
