From the American adaption of TUGS, the Star and Zero (Z-Stack) Fleet challenge each other to a race! (NOTE, THIS ALONG WITH THE BOOMER EPISODE ARE ALL THE SALTYS LIGHTHOUSE CLIPS I HAVE, I DO NOT HAVE ANY MORE, SO DO NOT ASK!!)
Am I the only one who thinks Sunbow Entertainment (who had a hand in producing this show) is pretty TRIFLIN' for not having a company website, having been in the business since the 80s?
@TheHankeyboy Bigg City Port did seem more like an American city than a British one. If they recast the voices it would have fine for an American audience (look how British Thomas the Tank is and that's had phenomenal success worldwide) This is another sad case of childrens' TV producers really underestimating/patronizing their audience. I was 4/5 when I first saw TUGS and I loved it, even though the odd line went over my head, I think that was fine because that's how you get children to learn.
This is funny. I suppose American kiddies would have had trouble with all the accents that the TUGS characters had (including Scottish, Irish, Geordie and Welsh) Also the dialogue might have been a bit too sophisticated for the average Thomas the Tank Engine-watching toddler.
I watched this when i was little and i had no idea it was a redub of another show, i found that out a few years ago and i was surprised still the original show is way better
You know, when I was a kid, the only reason why I even CONSIDERED watching "the boring" Shining Time Station and Salty's Lighthouse was because of the model segments. And to think that the new CGI episodes have live-action segments as well.
The ONLY segments that weren't important in (ANY show) to watch that I actually ENJOYED were the Harbormaster parts from Theodore Tugboat.
Why did Boomer appear EDIT FAIL

Haha, another goof spotted. This is supposed to take place in Snugboat Harbor, yet the Zero sign still says Bigg City!
