A video blog that we made while filming Hold My Hand, our upcoming film. Keep watching to see Jak put make-up on Jimmy, and for a clip of Hold My Hand!

Hold My Hand is a film about a blind boy name Aaron who miraculously regains his vision. The film follows him as he witnesses the world that has been hidden from him for so long.

This film features Tracie Dang as Susie, Aaron's caretaker when his parents are off on business trips. We would like to thank Tracie for taking the part, and working with us.

This is perhaps our most ambitious project in the three years that we have been making films. It'll probably take another month to finish filming, which is an extremely huge amount of time considering that most of our past films never took more than three days to finish filming. We're very excited, and we hope you guys are too.

Visit our website, and blog, for weekly updates on this project as we progressively continue to work on it.

  • I like your initiative guys. Keep filming anything and everything. You'll continue to learn.

    Now for some constructive criticism.

Avoid waving the camera around. Like 4:40 of Part 1.

Also play with sound and get the white noise out of your audio. Remember to get room tone.

Remember that although you want the colors to pop you want the quality of the image. I saw a lot of color correction and over exposure. Don't worry about cinematography. Focus on telling your story.

    Good Luck.

  • it's a shame that we've been filming for over 3 years and barely have we begun to make progress hahaha

Thanks for taking the the time to critique; not many people actually tell us how to improve, they just point out flaws.

The camera-panning was done because we were extremely limited on time during that filming day. If we could go back, we would totally avoid doing that. =/

We will try to stay away from wide-panning shots in our future works

    Thanks for the advice (:

  • lol, you can see the water from the bottle magically disappears when she pull the straw out for him xD

  • it's magic (;

  • I can see you guys put lots of efforts. One suggestion here is you guys have too many bad words like "sh?t". Not so good. But I like your story.

  • yeah...we apologize about the cursing. :/

    hope we didn't offend you!
