@afraidlove, I know, you're right. It's still depressing though. I see pictures when I was a kid, and I was a good-looking little boy. Today, I'm wondering what happened! The beautiful little boy grew up to be a ground troll!!

@afraidlove, What you said is all beautiful and poetic, but let's get real. We live in a world where looks DO matter. I'm even guilty of liking someone because they're hot (Example: the guy in this video). I understand they're not going to be hot forever, we'll all get old some day.

I don't think it's necessarily shallow to desire someone gorgeous. Because after all, that's what the power of attraction is all about in the first place. Ugly people, like me, are left out in the cold. Not fair.
