  • I absolutely LOVE it!!!

  • @Rowoches

Thank you so much. I noticed you've engaged several alumni Ward Singers. To my surprise, one of Clara Ward Sngers came out of Universal Liberty, back in 1960 in our former location 8200 Mack and Maxwell.

The Ward Singer was Malvilyn Statham. I seen her in one of our services on last year (2011)she communicated that Universal is where Clara Ward asked her to travel and sing, during a Sunday night service.

Bless the Spirit of Rev. Ralph J. Boyd ...

  • My sincere appologizes to Versacebouy86 as I directed my previous comments to, Bishop Leroy Martin, whom I initially thought created this magnificent tribute to the Divine King. Nevertheless, Versacebouy86 - job well done!!!

  • @versacebouy86: Yes, I most definitely love the Ward Singers. I didn't know that Malvilyn came out of Universal; I do know of another church, which I can't remember right now. Another Ward Singer, Mildred Means, came out of the Church of Our Prayer w/ Rev. Lofton. We know that our paths lead into various directions, but it's amazing how they manage to intertwine. Thanks again for sharing! I've heard much about how services were at Universal. Now, I can "see" for myself!

  • Memories. . . Misty watered colored memories . . . . These were my impressionable years as I was seeking the ways of the Lord. Many Spirit-filled Sunday nights, we rejoiced until 1 pm, Monday morning. I saw God would WORK through the man. We didn't know which way the Lord would take us. Today, I appreciate the King. Bishop, this is Michael Adcock and thanks for sharing with the world what we were Blessed to experienced. The memories shall be engraved upon the tablet of my mind - Forever!!!

  • Bless the Lord, God Continues to Amaze. Whom ever posted this, God Bless and Keep You Forever Safe in His Bosom. Peace
