After the Stars shootout victory against the Anaheim Ducks, the crowd at American Airlines Center gives one last standing ovation to Mike Modano for all he has down in a Dallas Stars uniform. It was Modano's last home game as Star and probably his career.

  • It truly was as emotional as you see and hear here. Keep in mind that this was even minutes after the end of the game. It was SO loud - almost drowning out the P.A.

Yet even more tear wrenching was the spontaneous eruption that occurred during the game itself. It was thunderous and LONG. The game was held up! It's at /watch?v=OQDDi5xI2sY though I assure you it was 3 times as loud as the TV mike recorded.

And after that Modano scored the tying - and then the winning goal. Intense. Just intense.

  • I am not a Stars fan. But I cant say I didnt get choked up watching this video!! Will have to say as someone stated in a earlier post. He has to be one of the best American born Hockey players ever!!

  • @Homesmoker

Why do keep replying to me? I stated my opinion already and it isn't changing.

  • @HomeskooledVideo Well if so I don't think you can deny the sheer skill, talent, and star power that he had in dallas, and the NHL. There is no player that is liked by everyone, never has been, never will be. I get that. It's perfectly fine to hate someone based off their attitude, off ice behavior, whatever. But if you can't admire obvious skill simply because of those traits, then you are just being an immiture child.
