do bunnys bite? When you first get a rabbit do you need to tame it to not bite?
sageme13 1 month ago
@sageme13 most bunnies do not bite. however, if a rabbit was frightened or acting territorial it may use biting as a sign of aggression/self protection. unspayed females are often territorial of their cage or what they perceive as "their space" and may lunge out at other rabbits or people. i personally have never had a bunny who was a biter, but that doesn't mean i've never been bitten, usually when i tease too much or stop petting someone who is very demanding! :)

I heard that carrots are really bad for bunnies.
SoftballL0VA 4 months ago
@SoftballL0VA lots of sugar is really bad for bunnies as it upsets their digestive track. large carrot = lots of sugar = bad for bunny. i feed them as an infrequent treat and only use the small one's (half the size of your pinky), these are the one's that come peeled in a bag for snack trays not the large one's you typically see the green still attached. more information on properly feeding can be found on the house rabbit society website or my site.
