can this replace canon dslr for serious macro shooting? can you use canon macro 100 mm?
-
Please tell us what adapter you are using... I want to get one! Thank you

Nice work. What macro adapter are you using? I now have an NEX-3 and a Canon 50mm FD, and will attach it to a slider for some macro work.

Easy, shoot with a faster lens. Any Lens with Aperture F2.5 and below is ideal for low light situation. Shooting with kit lens from VG10, at F3.5 to F5.6 is very difficult in low light situation, and will cause your camera to shift ISO (sensor speed) to 1600 to 3200, where noise is much greater. Keeping it at base iso 200 - 800 is the trick. The canon fd 50mm F/1.8 is great for low light, but I had to manual focus to shoot this video.
