Stop Screwing with our Cars

Obama and the evil democrat party hell bent on removing your freedom of choice, to "save the planet". My ass, the more they do to attempt to prove this global warming myth, the more they expose themselves for the liars they are. Cash for clunkers was a farce, electric cars will not replace internal combustion cars until some serious advances in technology are made, and the US taxpayers should not be financing this. This is up to the private sector to accomplish. Who is paying for the electric bill to charge all these firetraps parked in the public charging stations.....guess who??

Well think what you think, in a good 10 - 15 years, petrol would only be affordable to the higher class, you will be flintstoning your car or taking a bus that's most likely to be electric. And look up something on Google for research for once. You claim climate chance is nonsense but studies that record climates have existed 250 years ago. There is over 250 years of evidence and you blindly claim it as false with no evidence why just so you can still pay for ''gas''. wow/

@toyotaprius79 I have done my research sir, and thus far the "green" movement has failed to provide solid evidence. Some of these "experts" the tree hugging liberals rely upon cannot forecast the weather for the next two weeks let alone forecast a "climate change" for the next 25yrs. If people want EV's, fine, they can buy them, however the days of the public subsidizing their existence, is over next Nov.

I think electric cars is a great alternative to fuel cars as gas is so expensive.

@patsaxon If you think gas is expensive wait until your credit card is melting in a public charging station. Who is going to pay for the install, and for the power, and to maintain these things. Answer EV drivers in form of a surcharge on their Lic. Plate.

@hearsedriver1968 That in mind. Don't the car companies or electric companies supply the charging posts in the US? Since that's what they do in Europe. Nissan and ESB set up over 3600 charging stations all over Ireland and it's motorways, and they do it on their own expense. It's their investment, not ours. So wtf is going on over there?

@hearsedriver: We do need some type of alternative energy or an alternative fuel. Since no one is creating an alternative fule to compete with gas, we may have no choice but to settle for electric cars. I think filling station will have such electric charging units installed and Wal-Mart already has them in some parking lots already. But the problem is many cars parking in such spaces are not electric.
