http://www.sinbi-muaythai.com - Det the trainer in the clip who himself was a top ranked Lumpinee fighter explained how the technique has been around for over 100 years, way before modern medicine had even reached Thailand. Using a large Bunsen stove, a rock is then heated to a high temperature. He then produced some compressed herbs wrapped in fabric which once heated to the point where smoking is pressed and massaged over the bumps for a period of 15minutes. Although somewhat rudimentary and extremely painful the technique seems to have reduced the solidified bumps by 50% after only two sessions and also removed all sensitivity and pain in the shins themselves.

Does this technique help condition shins and deaden nerve endings or does it just relieve pain and swelling once the shin is already banged up?

@HaRtBrEaKiiiD it takes at least 2 years to get hard!!! if you deliver a kick with full power and you hit the opponet knee it hurts a bit but at least you don't start jumping around the gym swearing!))).
