What Tamiya Color i should use?????

@Lee78072 I started with XF-18 medium blue and XF23 light blue as my starting point, and added various grays until I was satifsied with the hue. No better way to colour match than just to experiment!

@smsno1 nah I've already done an E-D, truth is I'm not a big fan of the Galaxy Class... though I have done most of their reissued Trek kits(haven't built the reliant yet, but it is in my stash), and if they reissue the E-B, I will pick it up

It realy sucks to not get to sleep.... With me it goes in waves... cant sleep then i cant stay awake.... and so it goes... IT SUCK!!! Good thing i am unemployd atm :(

@bogusbyte well at least there's something positive to be found in unemployment... I know where you're coming from though, when I'm not working, my sleep cycles end up all over the damn place...

Yup insomnia sucks, i only been sleeping 3 hours a night now after hurting my spine 10 months ago :(

Still it's given me plenty of time to practice scribing panel lines on models. lol

The problem you had with mineral spirits sounds exactly like a problem I had with "Easy Lift-Off" when I tried using it to strip paint off a model. I don't really know why this would happen if it didn't happen before. Different type of mineral spirits? Too much of it? Or not enough paint between the mineral spirits and the plastic?

But if it's giving you trouble, try something else. Maybe lighter fluid? That's a fairly popular choice...

@facemodels Insomnia sucks, i feel your pain face. If i'm not mistaken styrene is oil based and the mineral spirits may be drying it out, and making it change i'ts composition. I stopped using brake fluid to strip my models because it made the models brittle after stripping.
