yea,
well people said compact Discs were pieces of crap that would never go anywhere.

After all we already had laser disc right? so who would want a CD.

lol just cause a technology isn't particularity useful at the moment, doesn't mean it can't be realized into something extremely beneficial down the road when it matures.

And I don't mean to look back onto this, but STARTREK74656, you're stupid to think Surface does nothing for $10,000.

It's not even meant for personal use right now. It's for businesses such as hotels and restaurants. So trying to bash at it and jump to conclusions is just a waste of time.

How did a simple video on PlayAnywhere turn into a debate on MS Surface and Mac overpricing? O.o

To tell the truth, I think this is pretty smart of Microsoft to do, because it enables a user to just drop it anywhere and start playing on the surface infront of them.

For a prototype, I think it's pretty good.

MS surface is some of the worst tech ever. A TOUCHSCREEN TABLE THAT DOES ALMOST NOTHING FOR $10,000?! This is probably even worse priced, knowing MS. I et it even allows MS to spy in on the room w/ the camera, buried deep within the end user licence agreement.

I have, YOU are the one who needs to research before you post that shit. You sound like a Microsoft employee. What do you think I need to research on? "I bet it allows MS to spy in on the room with the camera" was a random guess. JUST READ WINDOWS 7'S END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT!!! It gives them the right to look at any files on the PC without you even knowing.

no i meant microsoft. yes, thats true that apple is pricey and puts a lot of effort in how it looks, but functionality is one of the very few advantages macs have over PCs. are they more practical or useful? certainly not. but anyways i was referring to microsoft surface, which is overpriced. its a simple, old technology that they put a high price on until someone copies it . the rest of their products ask for more money than their worth but they're not overpriced.
