The only video covering this particular firearm that I can find anywhere on the internet. Going to be getting one myself here pretty soon. Can you shoot me the link to where you ordered the hammer from?

@dahelmetrk Thanks for the reply!

I want one!

...and it's still the only video on youtube on the Southpaw. Glad you posted a review. I handled one yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the trigger pull was. Trigger pull can be really crapy on some snub nose revolvers.

@Peidmonte89 Just keep in mind these guns are mainly meant for carry pieces either back up or primary. They are not designed as a fun range gun to run thousands upon thousands of rounds through. That is likely why some people think "charters" are bad guns...

On top of that the other day I got like around 2 inch group with 4 shoots @ 25 yards.
I saw this gun at a gun show and fell in love with it. but seeing as I am 19 I have to have my Dad sign the paperwork. He laughed and called charter arms throw away guns, and that i should spend the extra $100 for a smith& Wesson Bodyguard. My question to you is this.
How is it holding up since you first bought it? How many rounds have you shot through it and have you had any problems with it?

@Zen876 I've put a couple hundred rounds through mine and its been great so far. The only issue I've had is that the cases swell and get stuck in the cylinder which means I have to individually pull out each one...definitely not good for defensive shooting. I may send it in to have them look at it. My wife has the Pink Lady and hers doesn't do that. The bodyguard is nice but if you're left-handed you have to learn to reload the gun differently. Definitely not a throwaway though.

Thanks for the video. Thank you that you were the first to do a video and give a review on this gun. I got this gun because I to am left handed. Its a great gun. I have great control with it. Thanks again.

The key is to remove the edge of the grip where the spent rounds would otherwise get stuck. Make it as round and smooth as possible.

@Ell198679 Thanks for the info. I hadn't heard that about the gold dots but they're good bullets so it doesn't suprise me. I just put Eagle grips on my Southpaw and they look too nice for me to risk modifying them with my poor woodworking skills. Plus I kind of like the thin speed strips now. I stick them in my pocket and they don't bulge.
