MHD generator tryout

The first try . I think its not working properly because as I found out later the salt water itself has some voltage. The magnets are from HDD, they are pretty strong but i think the mistake is somewhere in the water...I used two litres of water and 200g of salt.

russians made a concept and a real power station creating an energy of 25MW..but the biggest disadvantage is that its impossible to create an AC energy...and there has to be a realy fast medium and strong magnetic field around 6T..

well...first of all im just a high school student and im really beginner... think about a simple dc generator using a faradays law..the coil moving in the magnetic field causes that a current is created in the wire...and now replace the coil with a water or plasma...its using the same principle..it is a conductor and it is moving in magnetic field..problem is that the liquid medium has to move extremely fast to generate some useful energy...
