i went to go take down the jump and ishka had come with me(already untacked) and i decied to jump it myself the i look to my right and see ishka troting along and BOOM jumps is :) made me happyy to know she still has it in herrrrrr

Pft you're silly. I'm not saying that you should do 4' tomorrow. I'm just sayin' that you should hit 2' soon and then she won't look like she's overjumping by so much. I understand the whole training and getting used to a height before moving up 3 more inches, I'm there now with my Termy. But she could definetely be ready for short/long stirrup EASY by spring. Maybe even lower hunters.

But your next vid should def include either an oxer or a higher jump or I will get on your case :P

We are doing about 2' right now!! But i was over exagerating at 4 foot i hope u know lol!! But yeahh, ino she looks like she overjumps itt haha, but i mean i agree we need to start jumping higher but i have a confession...we have no jump standerds..so i have to make freakish looking jumps out of random things, so have any ideas to make the jumps oxers or higher??

and yes it was a truck and a trailer...harley had a severe case of colic and they didnt expect him to live, but he did!! so they had just brought him home from the vet and had the trailer still in the arena..took 20 mins for ishka to get used to but she didnt care by the end of the ride!! :D

I need to start remembering that the horse I ride is like 15 hands and a lot of horses are taller... Cause it looked like 18" to me :D all the more reason to go to 2'6"!!!

I figured y'all didn't have jump standards after all the chairs I've seen :D you can use barrels, tires, cinderblocks, logs, garbage cans, taller chairs and all sorts of stuff. We used to not have standards so we used to also use fences. You can also use branches and brooms for poles. Just get creative!

Oh, girl i KNOW she needs to go higher! But remember, i have to work her into it..i cant just someday jump her 4 foot out of no where! but i agree, she has soo much scope PLUS she loves it with her whole heart!! and yaya dont worry, in the near future we will be going higherrr!!
