Sorry about the duplication, I am a new member, and I do need help concerning my earlier post

I have a H101 under construction at the moment (feb 2011) I am having problems trying to locate the proper location for the tow hook. What is the location of the hook on your aircraft? What reinforcment did you use to strengthen the fusalage? What sie of wire was used for the tow hook?
You aircraft seems to handle quite well on the tow line to say nothing about it's flying. Well Done!!
I hope you are able to help with these questions...

@wjpferr Hi, it is launched with a histart: 100 feet of silicone tubing and 300 feet of nylon wire.
This Salto is not a beginner plane. If you are looking at the CMPro or Jamara DG1000 (around 260 cm wingspan): they are very fast and handle very tricky. Not good for a beginner.

are you using an electric motor for launch or just launching into the wind to gain altitude? Nice flying by the way. Do you know is a Salto is a better begginer glider than a DG-1000?
Thaanks for the info on the tow hook. I suppose two hooks on each side might work or a tow release facing downwards......Thanks again for your help.............Ed

@EdSaltoH101 Ed, you're welcome. I have an aerotow release in my Salto and do a lot of aerotowing, and I do fly it on the slope. The bungee hook is seldomly used. I do not really like the double hooks on the side (double the change of a line not releasing).
Th esingle hook in t he current position works well enough I think.

Where is the tow hook located in relation to the wheel housing?

@EdSaltoH101 Right in front of it. That is slightly too far forward so histart launches are not the highest. It is very stable though.
