taken from the window of the bus as I exited the Neelam for the last time. in June 2008. Apologies for the shaky camera work, but the road is little rough and narrow in places being made of boulders and cut like a ribbon out of the cliff. The river is regarded as unnavigable and as far as I am aware no one has ever traversed its course. Given though that parts of the river divide Indian from Pakistan Kashmir then anyone foolish enough to kayak down it in the last 40 years would have and still will be shot at from both sides! that's no surprise. I will in due course be adding more on the Neelam and her tributary the Sorgan, or as they are historically known the Kisanganga and the Sarasvati. This film takes you from Kiwaja-Seri, a small village 5km down stream of Sharda to a few hours from Musaffrabad. The final scene/pucture in the end credit is of Kiwaji-Seri
