Summing up. Bhutan is in its own mess. and to hide a truth it has had to tell a 1000 lies. it has already ...to the young generation. but it won't be long before that changes. Unless you want to solve problems you will not demonstrate that spirituality you boast of.
Gross National happiness is a good philosophy for the sake of philosophy but the religious content is totally conflicting with reality. why believe it then? Peace comes for a price and that price has been your ignorance. good luck.

and you boast of envirnomental efforts into Gross National Happiness. India's highest and richest people thought of srewing your resources in every possible way and they will.
And some one was talking about fundamental rights. ha ha ha....bhutan doesn't even have proper courts to enforce those rights or any other right. the chief Justice does not even have a basic law degree. If you are talking about spirituality in GNH where is that problem solving & true justice oriented attitude???

The king must have helped develop bhutan in many ways and we respect that. But why evict people peaceful and harmonious people. torture them and kill and murder. well that was Gross Happiness i guess. the people of Bhutan are unaware how much money the king, the monks and the freaking high class Ngalongs use through taxes that belong to the middle class and rural area people. and besides it has already burdened your generations with credit from WB.the damns are nt envirnmentaly apprvd as well.

but you even don't know what people think. just giv your opinion on anything as you wish. and call Nepalese illegal immigrants. you are shameless.
just like your forefathers want you to be. Bhutan is green and beautiful but hadn't been for you racists would have been greener. noticed the corruption index recently. please check it. You religious folks are stealing and have the guts to call others ILLEGAL. we are the ones least interested in your filthy minds....

All Nepalese are aware that Bhutan has changed and become far more different than we left. But history cannot be wiped off. And if you treated today's Nepalese better it would have been some sort of consolation. You don't let them vote as well. And yes that means Gross National Happiness. You don't let them work as they wish. they cannot study on government spending outside of bhutan as you guys do. How interesting? You can be happy does that mean everyone is? You know how to post opinions..

Bhutan is a regime that has far grown to bury truths...and block the minds of young bhutanese. Their racial hatred is alarming and they boast of human development. And ya Gross as well forgot their favorite word. Look at their racialism, they have grown sick. The religious teachings of Buddha has been screwed to protect interests of those who can use the internet. 80,000 people were not allowed to vote in 2008 elections. Bhutan as a country needs more happiness than you racists can think of.

hey sick people of bhutan: let me give you some history. Nepalese people were peaceful and brotherly/sisterly citizens of bhutan. The IV king shat on whatever the 3rd king did for bhutan....so you talk about democracy, and peace. And as the 4th King was provoked by Nepali protests in Sikkim he evicted all Nepalese. Look up your OWN BELOVED LAW of the land. look at the 1958 Citizenship Act and the 1977 act....you will get a picture that all Nepalese are real citizens.

hi upeanbhupen, Nepal, in order to get economic aids from china and to stop starving those tens of thousands of poor Nepalese, cracked down the tibetan protest which took in the recent year. So, now, you talk about improving Bhutan's human right status. Bhutan has never violated human rights inside Bhutan; i don't want to mention aboout human rights violation about those refugees because i including many Bhutanese "reasonably believe" that you guys are not Bhutanese citizens.
