Postpartum depression affects anywhere from 10- to 30 percent of new mothers, but a new study found dads can be susceptible, too. A new study found about 10 percent of fathers experience depression some time while their partners are pregnant or after the baby is born. Depression among men in the general population is less than 5 percent. Most depressed dads feel it not immediately after the baby is born but rather about three- to six months later.
