Tyra isn't taking sides she was focusing on the popular girls because they really are the ones with the power. If the popular girls say"Hey lets be friends with the unpopular girls" THEY CAN DO IT" Now if the unpopular do the same, they will fail and get rejected. The popular do have the power.
