@Euloalius Yeap, Renault was entirely built around Fernando, when he was in the team...and it's no wonder since Flavio Briatore, Alonso's manager was the team boss and Alonso was like Briatore's "golden son"....first they kicked Trulli out in 2004, then they took in Fisichella, who never ofcourse got the same treatment as Alonso, and the same thing continued when Alonso returned to Renault and Piquet Jr was his teammate.

And now it's the same thing with Ferrari...we all saw what happened in 07

@GLR26591 Well ofcourse that is good...for FALONSO....but for the viewers it has looked like Falonso is uncapable of dealing such situation where his team-mate would get equal treatment....and we indeed saw that in 2007 at Mclaren. And I just cant have respect for that kind of driver.

@volcom1722 I dont think so....still remember the reason why Falonso got to Ferrari in 2010 in the first place?Santander's (spanish bank) money...with their money, they bought Kimi out,and it's their sponsor money that ensures that Falonso has the absolute number-1 status inside the team....like I said, we saw in 2007 what happened when Falonso got team-mate that managed to beat him in many races.... and now that team-orders are fully legal again,Falonso has same status as Schumi had

@Balnazzardi The team will naturally try to help the better driver more. If Schumi was his team mate, they'd assess both of their performances and probably lean towards the better one.

@volcom1722 in 2010 Webber had more or less the exact same chances as Vettel....but he himself screwed it up in the end....and in 2011 Vettel was clearly the better driver, in many races Webber couldnt even take the 2nd place...

But sure I agree that Falonso is better driver than Massa... and after his accident in 2009, Massa hasnt been the same he was before. Still Im quite certain that no matter who would be Alonso's team-mate, the team wouldnt get him the equal treatment.

Alonso has the skill which is why the team focuses more on him. Massa has failed to perform so far (not that I don't like massa, he and fernando and my favourites), its just that alonso is more experienced and has more skill. He managed to win a race in 2011 in the Ferrari which was quite slow.

@Balnazzardi Exactly, which was also why Flavio didn't hire Webber, whom he was also managing, as Webber was one of the more impressive talents at the time. He sent him to Williams instead.
