@blackiron60 , I agree.  You would need to re-empower the Justice Department, Congress and jump start Commissions and Select Comittee's that occured during the 70s and 80s. Much of the Bush / Cheney crimes were secrecy and pushing things that werent completely understood or even looked at by Congress. An Independent Prosecutor on Guantanomo, Bush-Cheney crimes and 9/11. Problem..the Economy. How it can be manipulated again, takes us away from these things that could deter future corruption.

@tadsie1 , absolutely right. I think a lot of people were hoping Obama would do it, and he would absolutely vindicate his Lincoln-esque self-inspired image. Unfortunately, the reality is Peak Oil. Diminishing reserves, and derivate driven debt bubbles that a set to implode and annhilate economies across the world. Its already happening in Greece. All is set in motion toward a World Bank.

The minute anyone would remotely re-investigate 9/11 or begin a serious investigation would result in a chain of "suicides" "plane crashes" and a continuing military and authoritarian government, if not more so. Had there been no Bail Out, and the banks assets seized, the Fed Audited, REPEALING Swiss bank secrecy laws...thats what it will take.
