Lost like lover
Maybe just forgotten
Like child abandoned
Without mother
Without father
Lost like my selfish prayers
Left unaswered
Left half empty
Like your promises
Like souls
Like i forgot to let go
of yesterday
Because yesterday happened
and
We happened too
Like something happened between now and yesterday that must've chaged you
Like pride
or ego
Maybe my flaws
Like you're so full of pride that it hurts
Hurts like how you left me
Hanging,
Hoping,
Embarrassed to admit it
But i loved you
Knew what love was once because i had you
Like you were all mine
And you said it yourself
Like you loved me
Once,
You loved me
and it was quick
Once it was painless
Once you loved me,
We were together
Once,
You were here
Now,
You're everywhere else
Now you're doing you
Like we never existed
Now I'm confused...
...Again
Like I am ghost
Gone with the wind
But i loved you the most
More than life
More than myself
More than life itself
and i told you this!
Told you i needed you!
Told you we could make it!
So i wrote you a love note
Wrote you a poem,
Wrote you for a week straight...
But no response...
No reply...
No second chances,
Just...
Goodbye
No thanks yous,
No Sorries,
No jokes,
No laughter
Wrote you months after, but still...
No answers...
No nothing
And i was lost
Like lover
Like seed carried by wind
With no direction
Lost like my selfish prayers
Left unanswered
Lost like language
Like this poem is
So hard to write...
...Because you're still here
Still haunting
And I'm still stuck here wanting
But I haven't lost you...
I haven't
Lost sight
Haven't slept right since you left
I guess
Thats what Love's like...
Or maybe,

It's risky
It's fragile
Spontaneous
Time consuming
Full of surprises
Full of chances
and worth it
So i deserve this
Your silence
Or maybe...
I don't
Maybe...
I'm still here
Still searching,
Staring,
Standing,
Maybe,
I'm just as scared...
Still lost...
But i haven't lost you
