Air Canada A321 landing in Toronto (YYZ)

This video captures the final portion of flight ACA449 arriving in Toronto Pearson Intl. airport (YYZ) from Ottawa, the day following Canada Day celebrations. Landing on runway 24L. Filmed from the seat 23F (starboard wing view).

Includes final approach, landing, taxi to the terminal and shutdown. Notice one of the engines getting shut down during taxi on the ramp, as well as the typical Airbus "barking" sound of the PTU after complete shutdown.

The PTU is activated when one of the hydraulics systems drops to 500 psi. The Power Transfer Unit then activates, allowing for the system to go back to 3000 psi. The sound of it getting, in comparison to the sound of a dog, a longer bark, is because as the engines are shut down the pressure provided by them lessens. Vise vera during start up

ok first of all Ottawa's code is not YYZ , yyz is toronto the airport code for Ottawa is CYOW
