Debt serfs... that's a good term. That's exactly the way things are structured. Even if you get yourself an education, odds are you'll be in significant debt... starting life off in the hole. It's the banking system... there's no way we should be dependent on for profit banks to provide us with basic shelter and things like education... agreed, there is no intention to help anyone.
