Instead of trying to run against Texas' stout run defense at the time, we threw a quick pass that did work, only Nunn fumbled. It was GOOD coaching for that game, it was a mistake by Nunn. Maybe you should get the facts first.

I remember being in the student section for that game...after that touchdown our whole section was layed out across the bleachers because we were celebrating so hard...it was like a domino effect...to bad it was all taken away with Nunns fumble...never heard the stadium go so quiet so fast.

agreed. But Callahan is the reason we aren't as good anymore; he parted from the tradition and totally screwed up our system. It's gonna be a few years until we finally get that back and are a powerhouse again..

Yeah, you know, 3rd and 8, with a first down putting the game away effectively. The audacity to actually try and pick up the first down instead of just run the ball straight ahead and punt it away, what an idiot.

Callahan needed to go, but to blame him for this loss is just nitpicking. C'mon now.
