Central Bible Church outreach slide show from 2006. We were in the Mexicali Valley
(Inland just south of El Centro, CA and San Luis, AZ) at a place called Cuernavaca: Ejido Cuernavaca is located on the outskirts of the city of Mexicali. This was the first camp, and thus the oldest camp in the Azusa pacific program. It is also known as the "big camp" since it can accommodate up to 3,000 people. We when for our spring break and it was worth the sacrifice. We worked on a church, painted a school and lead a VBS for the kids in Abasolo. Not to mention that we brought Extreme Ironing to Mexico. http://www.apu.edu/iom/mexout/events/easter1/
