@usamanasimbhatti keep sniffing buttcracks assclown. Dr. Robert Goddard is known as the father of modern rocket propulsion.
NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., a major space science laboratory, was named in his honor.
pls. put a penis sandwich back in your mouth, nazi fagtard.

why do you always say "nazi's"?!?!?!

@pzmaus Top speed for a v-2 was only 3,500 MPH with a max ceiling of 135 miles, in order for it to reach orbit it would have to reach 17,000+ MPH. Not to mention even if there was one and it fell to Earth, it would be burnt up in the higher atmosphere long before it would ever reach ground. The skin was not designed to take much more temperature. Then there is the fact that at low orbits such craft can not stay up longer then a few months. No, there isn't a v-2 in orbit.

Did you know that a v-2 is still in orbit today? It was a failed lunCh. The sCary part is that it was filled with explosives and not ConCrete as the test v-2s. What happens if it falls to earth like satelights do all the time 0_o ???

@00Harzer germany was the first to put an object in space and russia was the first to put a man in space. but you're right about the war

As a matter of fact Hitler and the nazis had little interest in new weapons, until the war started to go bad for them. Very little money was poured into rocketry and jets. Hitler himself delayed the development of their first fighter jet for 2 vital years.
Most German scientists weren't nazis at all.
Also the idea to use rockets to explore space existed as an idea long BEFORE Hitler and the nazis.

germany got pwned
it is only becoz of nazis that the space exploration started using rockets!!
