Football University and its team of former NFLers recently made a journey to Barrow, Alaska, an Eskimo village situated on the Arctic Ocean in the northern most part of the United States. The goal was simple: Teach and motivate the Barrow Whaler High School football team and village kids about football. The result was simply astonishing. The surprised and excited high school and village kids spent three days training under Football University's staff of former NFL players. Most had never even seen an NFL player, much less played football with one. "Shocked and thrilled would be the best words," said Barrow School Superintendent Trent Blankenship. "This will be legendary here. Generations will be talking about this and saying 'remember when those NFL players came'. This might be a small nat ional story but to us it'll be the stuff of legend."
